TipTop Tuesday, my weekly video series, is today is written. The topic today is bitterness. It is a logical theme after last week's topic about resentment. Bitterness is a little more hidden because the cause is not so obvious. What do I mean by that? We all have hopes, dreams, and beliefs about the rules of living life. Bitterness occurs when we are wounded but we do not address the wound. Thus, the starting point of the initial wound might seem insignificant but it rocks your core belief about yourself. The healing happens when we find the first cut into our well being. When we find the memory we have to open it to the light to be cleaned and healed. We all have examples of seemingly isolating interactions about something. Often, it is a quick non-repeat situation that seems to be a surface cut and life is busy and we go on. The truth is the cut went really deep because it goes against our life's core values and beliefs. It shakes us to the core. Reading different articles about bitterness I felt that many people believed that bitterness consumed all aspects of a person daily life. I disagree with that. Rather, it is a continuum of feelings not a person consumed by bitterness or all joy. We have lots of emotions. I also wonder if our culture views depression and bitterness in the same category. They are different.
Enough said we all know that instinctively.
So my Tip this week is to find something you are bitter about and follow that cord or string to the root cause. Once there really examine your feelings. In my experience it is a childhood belief that was challenged and you felt confused, rejected and shamed. You judge and shame yourself by denying your "immature reaction". The immature is the key, it is a childhood hurt and children require lots of nurturing. So, give yourself lots of love and comfort. It is now easier to look at it from the other person's or people's point of view.
This weekly tip was given to me by one of my massage clients. It really resonated with my soul. She basically said: Letting go of bitterness is an inside job and you need to really examine your memory and also provide a safe space of nurturing and love for yourself.
Have A Dazzle of A Day!!
Today is 11/11 and it is being called a gateway to spirituality and to a higher dimension. People are being asked to join together in global meditation and prayer.
What does that mean? It means it is a great opportunity to release feelings, resentments and “shoulda”. All this last week we have been challenged to dig deep and own our wounds to heal. Today the sacred vibrational energy of 11-11, the angels’ vibration opens the gate to a deeper understanding and compassion for self and others. It is a very gentle process and sometimes a person can feel light headed or their balance off. If this happens sit down and breathe. The earth is there to help us. We get to chose our path.
Sacredness of Being--Meditation
The breathe is a sacred connection to living in our bodies. Without breathe we die. Rene Decartes, the philosopher said, "I think therefore I am." He concluded when we question our existence, this requires thinking and thus, thinking proves our existence. We are our thoughts. DeCartes is known for being a philosopher but his foundation was mathematics and science. Through mathematics he was able to develop innovations in the subject of philosophy. As we know not all math is linear and follows in a straight line. My understanding is that advance math requires intuition and hunches. Intuition receives new ideas, and thoughts gives the ideas a foundation to build. In recent times, science recognizes the fluidity of our thoughts, and the neo-plasticity of our brains. Brains do many tasks including helping the reasoning logical thoughts and the intuitive inspirations interconnect for successful communicative interactions.. We need both sides of our brains to achieve the best solutions.
Mindfulness Mediation teaches us that our thoughts are not us. This makes sense to me because based on my own observations in meditation thoughts have a lower vibration than our divine spirit. Thoughts only rest on our energetic bodies but are not the whole of us.
Yes, our behavior is an outward sign of our thoughts but to accept this is all of us, creates a limited belief of who and what we are as people. The mind does create our reality but it is maya, or an illusion, based on our limited thought patterns. Some of my generation sought to expand their mind through LSD, and other hallucinative drugs. They wanted to do more than think about life, they wanted to connect with the vibration of the expansion of the universe. Some felt they succeeded in this and others did not. From my observations of infants I believe we are born with the expansive understanding of the universe. We know the essence of our spirit. We know the connective love of unity. It is in our memory files.
Below is a simple meditation. Please do and comment below. I am interested in your thoughts and experiences.
Meditation-- Breathe and listen to your breath, now think the word LOVE. Your breath is a reminder of a human existence. The word love is a reminder of our divine connection. .
Yes, this is a being of oneness and sacred awareness, a joyous living though meditation. Meditate for 2-30 minutes. Our divine connection is smiling with love.
Often my focus has been on Divine Feminine for both men and women. Today the mediation focus is about Divine Masculine. Divine Masculine is found in all of us. Divine Masculine is the helper for all of us to stay focused on our own inner truths and our sacred path. This meditation is about connecting ourselves to our action steps.
1. Drink some water.
2. If possible go outside and sit on the ground. If not possible sit in a comfortable chair with your feet flat on the ground.Be gentle with yourself! have a piece of paper and pen if you are so inclined.
3. Focus on the words Divine Masculine. I am not going to suggest what this might bring to your conscious mind. Rather, I encourage you to notice what these words are opening in your being.
4. If you feel your divine masculine wants you to share, please do.
Love sharing this article with people. I have worked with the earth for years and have always appreciate the strength of trees. The trees have emotions and are very loving. Trees are beautiful but they are such a comfort and often feel nurtured by them. Well science has reported a link between the main mother tree and her offspring trees.

This morning, drinking my coffee and thinking. I have more questions than answers. Once again we are faced with more deaths from someone that appears to be mentally ill with lots of guns. If we do not fund mental health, early childhood education, and general education are we as Americans responsible for all these deaths? If we are not responsible who is responsible? If we are responsible what is our response? Can we all be heroes in this and solve the problem? Are we really so helpless and passive that we can not solve this problem? When did we become a nation of fear driven living?. Is this a result of growing up in the Cold War Era living with the potential of a nuclear war? Or the result of what? I agree that guns are not the problem. The problem is people, and guess what people we need to solve this problem. How many more people have to live through this gut-destroyed grief? Well,if statistics are any indication of mass shootings we will have many more in the weeks ahead. What can you do? Register to vote, become active in your community, and simply love and respect each other with kindness.
